From the Manila Times (Aug 21): Army holds tree planting, medical mission in Laguna

CALIRAYA, LAGUNA: Philippine Army’s 202nd Brigade conducted a tree planting activity as part of the Brigade’s post founding anniversary with the theme “Serving the People, Securing the Land”.

More than 250 fruit and non-fruit bearing seedlings were planted during the activity participated by the Caliraya-Botocan-Kalayaan Power Plant Limited, local government units of Lumban and barangay officials of Caliraya.

A medical mission was also carried out by the Army Station Hospital, 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter) Division, volunteers from Laguna Red Cross; and barangay health workers of this town.
