From the Philippine News Agency (Aug 26): Army 301st Brigade has new commander

The Philippine Army 301st Brigade has welcomed its new commander with a simple turnover ceremony on Monday afternoon.

Brigade Gen. Arnold M. Quiapo relinquished his post to Lt. Col. Eric C. Uchida, the 301st Brigade deputy commander, during a ceremony in Camp Hernandez in Dingle, Iloilo province. The turnover of command was presided by MGen. Aurelio B. Baladad, commander of the 3rd Infantry Division.

Quiapo, who has served Panay island for over two years, is relieving his post for a higher responsibility as chief of the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP).

Last week, Quiapo was appointed new ISAFP chief replacing Major General Eduardo Año who assumed as commander of the Philippine Army’s 10th Infantry Division.
