From the Philippine News Agency (Nov 15): New AFP central commander visits 301st IB in Panay

The New Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Central Commander Vice Admiral Jose Luis Alano visited Thursday the 301st Infantry Brigrade in Dingle, Iloilo and covers Panay island. Alano, who paid courtesy call to Iloilo Gov. Arthur Defensor, Sr. before heading for Dingle, said his visit was part of his job to supervise all units under the central command that covers Regions 6,7, and 8 in the Visayas island. He said he wanted to ensure that all AFP units be able to perform their jobs and carry out their mandate. Alano was accompanied by 301st Infantry Brigade Commander Col. Arnold M. Quiapo in visiting the governor at the New Iloilo Capitol Building today.
