From Rappler (Oct 7): BIFM insists on separate Bangsamoro state

The splinter group Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM) declared that they are not interested with the recent development that aims at ending a decades-long separatist insurgency in the south of the country,  In a phone interview with Rappler on October 7, BIFM spokesman Abu Misry Mama said that they are firm in their position in not compromising the call of the Moro people for a separate Bangsamoro state. “We do not care if the government and the MILF would reach an agreement. We do not want the Bangsamoro entity or whatever they may call it,” Mama said. But Mama added that they would be closely watching the promises made by President Aquino that the Bangsamoro entity would deliver basic social services like education and health in the region.....
