A day before PH-US Exercise Balikatan 2022

LOOK I Philippine and United States Marines spend light moments after participating in the live-fire exercise during the Exercise Balikatan at Colonel Ernesto Ravina Air Base in Capas, Tarlac, on April 2, 2019.

The 37th iteration of PH-US Exercise Balikatan will officially open tomorrow, March 28, at the AFP's general headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

Balikatan, is a Filipino word that means working together shoulder to shoulder to achieve a common goal. At the personal level, it also gives the soldiers of two militaries a chance to learn the culture and tradition of each other and build camaraderie and friendship that will last even after the exercise.
