BALER, Aurora – A total of 963 pupils in the town of Dilasag, Aurora received school supplies from the GMA Kapuso Foundation to help them with their studies amid the pandemic.

The Foundation led by Maricel Tarrayo, Senior Project Staff together with 1st Lieutenant Bobby A Ferrer, Bravo Company Commander; 1st Lieutenant Candidato S Paduman, Civil Military Operations (CMO) Officer under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel Reandrew P Rubio and personnel of Dilasag Municipal Police Station distributed hygiene kits and school supplies to all public school pupils from Kindergarten to Grade 2 at Sport Complex, Barangay Masagana and Barangay Mangitahan in Dilasag, this province.

Thelma V. Macaraeg, Principal of Dilasag Central School said that she is very grateful in the aid provided by GMA Kapuso Foundation.

“Kung wala po sila ay hindi po maisasakatuparan ang mga ganitong gampanin. Napakahalaga ng kanilang tulong sapagkat kung hindi sa kanila ay hindi makakarating ang mga nasabing kagamitan sa 14 na paaralan sa Dilasag at kung hindi sa kanilang tulong hindi magiging madali ang pamimigay ng mga bagay na nabanggit sa mga magulang upang mayroong magamit ang kanilang mga anak lalong higit sa panahon natin ngayon. Muli, maraming maraming salamat po at sana hindi ito ang huli sa inyong pagdalaw at pagtulong ninyo sa amin,” Macaraeg said.

She added that the initiative of the foundation together with the 91st IB will surely encourage the young learners to continue to strive in their educational success.

“I am very thankful specially the Philippine Army for their usual assistance to ensure the safety and security of the items delivered to us. Thank you for providing security and manpower assistance in the hauling and distribution of school supplies to 14 recipient schools in our town,” Macaraeg said.
