The peasant masses and people’s army in Northern Samar held a joyous celebration to mark the 48th anniversary of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) on Abril, in the face of the focused military operations of the enemy in the area which has been ongoing for half a year now. Residents from six barrios attended the celebration and pledged to further oppose militarization in the area.
During the program, comrades discussed the current situation in the area which has been under focused military operations since December last year. The report stressed why the revolution is the only solution to the hardships faced by the people.
