CAMP SIONGCO, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao – The 90th Infantry Battalion of the 6th Infantry Division has discovered an arms cache while conducting a combat clearing operation at Barangay Tukanalipao, Mamasapano, Maguindanao last September 17, 2020 around 2:40 in the afternoon.

The troops recovered one (1) Cal. 50 barret rifle, one (1) 7.62mm snipper rifle, and one (1) M79 grenade launcher.

“I commend the troops for their successful recovery of these war materials as well as the community for their full support to our government’s thrust to end this decade long insurgency. Our efforts to end this cycle of tyranny of the BIFF that is hampering our nation’s progress will not stop until the said terrorist group is eradicated in JTFC AO.” Major General Juvymax R. Uy, Joint Task Force Central Commander said.
