CAMP GERONA, MURCIA, Negros Occidental- The 303rd Infantry Brigade under Colonel Inocencio Pasaporte, Brigade Commander is in full support of the Metro 3rd Seminar on Contact Tracing hosted by Mayor Frederick Palanca of Victorias City and facilitated by Congressman Albee and Kiko Benitez at Don Alejandro Acuña Yap Arts and Cultural Center, Victorias City, Negros Occidental earlier today September 11, 2020.

The Metro 3rd Seminar on Contact Tracing was hosted by LGU Victorias City headed by Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca and it was facilitated by Congressman Alberto “Albee” and Jose Francis “Kiko” Benitez. It was attended by Councilor Ryan Gamboa, President of Philippine Councilors League; Representative Joseph Stephen S Paduano of Abang Lingkod Party List; Mayor Mark Andrew Arthur J Golez of Silay City; Hon. Eric Matulac, Vice-Mayor of EB Magalona; Provincial Board Member Juvy A Pepello; PNP of Victorias City, PNP of Talisay City, PNP of Silay City; Medical Practioners of Victorias City, EB Magalona, Silay City, Talisay City, Murcia and different designated trainors of Contact Tracing team in the province.
The seminar aims to strengthen and equip the contact tracing participants to become an efficient contact tracers in support to our government fights against COVID-19.

Congressman Alberto “Albee” and Jose Francis “Kiko” Benitez in their message acknowledged the efforts and support of the Armed Forces in the national and local government in its fight against COVID-19 and called on the Negrosanons to kindly cooperate with the contact tracers saying, “We are trying to avoid deaths as much as we can. I am also thankful to all networks of our communities,that it is you on behalf of our loved ones who are in danger of getting critical severe covid.” he added.

Meanwhile, Colonel Inocencio Pasaporte, Brigade Commander said that, “The province needs to strengthen its contact tracing efforts because contact tracing is one important component in our COVID-19 efforts.

I commend the efforts of our Congressmen here in Negros especially in the 3rd District for its continuous collaboration efforts to address the problems related to Covid. The Armed Forces have already deployed medical personnel to augment the local medical healthcare of Bacolod City and Negros Occidental. It is very important that the people of Negros and the local government units is cooperating and to confront this COVID-19 health crisis,” Col Pasaporte added
