Earlier this morning, the 79 "Masaligan" Infantry Battalion conducted a Peace Advocacy and Outreach Program with Negritos Ata and Bukidnon Tribe (Indigenous People) of Northern Negros at Brgy. Minapasok,Calatrava, Negros Occidentalin partnership with the YOUTH FOR PEACE MOVEMENT - NORTHERN NEGROS CHAPTER together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Calatrava and the Local Government Unit of the Municipality of Calatrava.
Distribution of our Youth for Peace Project Covid-19 Defense hygienic kit where given out to 15O beneficiaries.
We distributed also 150 set of school supplies, books and notebooks for our Project Kwaderno.
More than 150 Indigenous People ate our delicious spaghetti prepared by the 79IB troops and youth for peace volunteers sponsored by SPAG-ASA.
We are very thankful especially to our Almighty God for the successful event.
We are thankful for the people who supported us especially to our sponsors.
We are grateful to the 79 IB Philippine Army for the undying support to our youth and for every Filipinos in need.
Thank you to the Municipality of Calatrava for letting us lend our hands for the Indigenous People who are in need specially amid this pandemic.
