CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, May 12 (PIA) -- The Fourth Infantry Division Battalion is now engaged in a new fight against an invisible enemy to people, the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Usually armed with a long high-powered firearms, the 4th Infantry Division (4ID) of the Philippine Army has set aside the weapons and exchanged these with loud speakers to inform the townspeople of the ways to protect themselves of COVID-19.

The men and women in uniform are now helping educate the community with regard to the risks of COVID-19.

The community information drive undertaken by the 4ID is designed to help flatten the curve of COVID-19 cases in the area.

True to their sworn duties, the 4ID keeps defending and protecting the community, not just from terrorist threat but from pandemic threat as well. (JAKA/PIA10)
