Lt. Gen. Cirilito E. Sobejana, Commander of Western Mindanao Command (WESTMINCOM), representing President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the awarding of gun certificates, gift items and financial assistance to the wounded soldiers admitted at Camp Siongco Station Hospital (CSSH) assisted by Joint Task Force Central (JTFC) Commander Maj. Gen. Diosdado C. Carreon and Presidential Management Staff led by Ms. Mary Ann Lucero on Saturday morning, March 14, 2020 in Camp Siongco, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.
The 18 soldiers were wounded during the recent encounter against the terror groups, Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) and Dawlah Islamiyah Terror Group (DITG), in Ampatuan and Datu Hoffer, Maguindanao.
A civilian casualty, who was also wounded in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion perpetrated by the terror groups, was also awarded with gift items and financial aid.
