AFP-CRS: High-powered arms cache uncovered

Elements of the Armed Forces of the Philippines under the 71st Infantry “Kaibigan” Battalion (71IB) uncovered arms caches and subversive documents in Pantukan, Davao de Oro on Tuesday, 10 March 2020.

Recovered by troops of the 71IB along with personnel from the Pantukan Municipal Police and 1101st Police Mobile Force Company were a rocket launcher light 40mm RPG, three 40mm high-explosives and subversive documents in Barangay Napnapan, Pantukan.

Authorities acted on information provided by rebel returnees who recently received cash and livelihood assistance from the government’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
