Kalinaw News: Civilian, Military and CAFGU donated blood to save lives

BALER, Aurora – In partnership with Rural Health Unit headed by Dr. Jose R. Magno Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Paulino J Garcia of Memorial Research and Medical Center, PNP and Alpha (ALAKDAN) Company, 91IB, 7ID, PA donated bloods to save lives.

The 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion under the leadership of LTC REANDREW P RUBIO INF (GSC) PA, Acting Commanding Officer 91IB successfully conducted bloodletting activity at Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija on 12 March 2020 through the initiative of the Municipal Mayor Hon. Jobby P. Emata.

The activity started at 8 o’clock in the morning which was attended by Alpha (ALAKDAN) Company, 91IB, 7ID, PA led by 2LT ZAMZAMYN K DIMASIDSING (INF) PA and seventy-six (76) qualified donor from volunteered citizens of Gabaldon and Military Personnel including Civilian Auxiliary Force and Geographical Unit (CAFGU) of the 91IB participated in the said cause.

The bloodletting activity is a great kind of preparation for any medical emergency purposes and it is to gather people to share their lives voluntarily by means of giving their blood.

LTC RUBIO expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the active participation of those who voluntarily donated their blood to save lives with the help of Gabaldon Municipal Mayor, Municipal Health Unit, Memorial Research and Medical Center, Philippine National Police and Philippine Army for the effort and support.

He also assured that the Sinagtala troopers are always ready to provide service to the constituents of Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija and Aurora Province.

“This noble activity hopes to encourage more donors and ensures blood supply for those in need. Your usual support and voluntary act made this activity a success,” LTC RUBIO said.

Likewise, COL ANDREW D COSTELO INF (GSC) PA, Commander 703rd Infantry Brigade, 7ID, PA also appreciated the local government unit of Gabaldon and other health sectors for their usual support and promoting the effective and genuine health services.
