ABUYOG, Leyte, Feb 15 (PIA) - A day before Valentines Day, the Provincial Task Force to End Local Communists Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) Leyte headed by Hon. Leopoldo Dominico L. Petilla, Chairman, brought a Valentines gift to the students and teachers of Gabaldon Central School, Brgy Buntay, Abuyog, Leyte.
PTF-ELCAC Chair, Governor Petilla turned over a two-storey building with eight classroom to the delight of the grateful students and teaching force who have been wishing and in dire need of additional classrooms.

In the blessing and turnover, Gov. Petilla was accompanied by members of the Leyte PTF-ELCAC Carlo P. Loreto, Vice Governor, Province of Leyte in collaboration of Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (MTF-ELCAC) Abuyog, Leyte headed by Hon. Lemuel Gin K. Traya, Municipal Mayor; and 78th Infantry (Warrior) Battalion led by Lieutenant Colonel Roberto B. Obaob, Commanding Officer.
This active collaboration and synergy efforts of PTF-ELCAC and MTF-ELCAC Abuyog, Leyte have provided the students and teachers of the said school with basic social services, improve the quality of education and capacitate them to become conflict-resilient communities.
