TACLOBAN CITY, 15 Dec. (PIA) -- Officer-in-Charge PLt General Archie Gamboa of the Phiippine National Police awarded the Medalya ng Sugatang Magiting to two policemen who were wounded in action during the ambush incident in Brgy. Libuton, Borongan City last Friday.
Gamboa gave the award and financial assistance to the families of the victims during his visit this morning (Sunday) at the Divine Word Hospital, Tacloban City.
Afterwards, he proceeded to Borongan City, Eastern Samar to visit the wake of the policeman who died and to visit other wounded policemen in a hospital in Borongan. (LDL/CBA/PIA-8)
