Officers and staff members of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations in Eastern Mindanao (DIPO-EM) have begun the operational review and performance audit of the mobile forces of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 (Caraga).
The review and audit started on Monday and will end on Friday, PRO-13’s Information Office said in a statement to the media on Tuesday.
The operational review and performance audit is headed by Brig. Gen. Ronaldo F. de Jesus, executive officer of DIPO-EM and audit team leader.
Subject to the review and audit are the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) of PRO-13 and the provincial mobile forces.
“The activity aims to assess the operational readiness of our mobile forces, as well as their efficiency in cross-border operations and interoperability with other PNP (Philippine National Police) and AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) units,” said Brig. Gen. Joselito T. Esquivel Jr., PRO-13 director.
Esquivel said the internal security operations of PRO-13 are gaining headway with the surrender of members of the Communist Party of the Philippines - New People’s Army and the increasing support of the people for government programs.
The exit briefing is set on Friday at the PRO-13 headquarters where the findings and recommendations of the audit team will be presented.
