TUBOD, Lanao del North -- In operationalizing Executive Order 70 and the Convergence Areas for Peace and Development (CAPDev), the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte will launch and activate its Local Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (LTF-ELCAC) at Barangay Beruar, Tangcal, Lanao del Norte, October 7.

Around 3,000 expected residents and participants of the event will receive services from the local government and some national line agencies. The services will include dental, medical, dengue testing, supplemental feeding, spaying and neutering of pets, grooming, land titling, skills training, among others.
The provincial government will also spearhead the distribution of wheelchairs to senior citizens, fruit and vegetable seedlings, multivitamins for pets, slippers, livelihood entitlement, and more through its Especial Mass-Based Program (EMBP).
The EMBP is a one-stop approach of bringing the integrated services of the provincial government closer to the less privileged constituents especially to the interior barangays in the province.
As for empowering the youth, the local government will lead the groundbreaking ceremony of a high school building in the area.
