WESTMINCOM: Maguindanao students benefit from joint civic program

Students from Capiton Primary School received assistance from military troops and non-government organizations in Maguindanao yesterday, September 20.



The gift giving and feeding program was conducted by soldiers from 90th Infantry Battalion, Social Climbers, Inc., and Taga Cotabato Ka Kung-TCKK, Inc. in Barangay Capiton, Datu Odin Sinsuat.

Seventy-four students received slippers, haircut service, and supplementary feeding during said outreach program.

“We will continue to extend assistance to organizations working for youth empowerment and community development in the Bangsamoro region,” said Col. Jose Narciso, 601st Infantry Brigade Commander.

“The Joint Task Force Central will strengthen this collaboration for the common aspiration of the Bangsamoro people. We will work with the local governmemt and the different sectors to achieve genuine peace and development in the region,” said Maj. Gen. Diosdado Carreon, Joint Task Force Central Commander.

“Rest assured of our commitment to bring security and stability for the people of Mindanao. We will support programs that advance the well-being of the underprivileged,” said Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, commander of Western Mindanao Command.
