Lt. Col. Jeffrey A Villarosa Commanding Officer of 30th Infantry “Python” Battalion personally pins the rank insignias to the 85 newly promoted Enlisted Personnel during the flag raising ceremony at Headquarters, 30IB, Brgy Sta Cruz, Placer, Surigao del Norte on August 05, 2019.The pinning of ranks ceremony is a continuance of military customs and tradition to recognize the newly promoted personnel as well as to emphasize the morale and welfare in order to become more effective in their respective tasks.
The ceremony is done simultaneously from other units of 4th infantry division, Philippine Army to acknowledge their newly promoted personnel. It signifies not only a new chapter of leadership for the newly promoted personnel but also entails much responsibility towards their subordinates and greater accountability to their seniors and commanders.
