On 25 1300H July 2019, Alpha Company led by 1LT AYEN P RAMOS (OS) PA attended the Social Awareness Symposium with the theme: Mga Mamamayan Ng Bayan, Terorismo Ating Labanan At Droga’y Iwasan Para Sa Maunlad Na Bayan at Brgy Hall of Solinog, Calamba, Misamis Occidental. More or less seventy (70) residents of the barangay led by Brgy Captain Luther V Iman listened to the following lectures:

A. National Freedom for Peace Movement (NAFDEM) Profile by Mr Dante B Labunog, Founding Chairman

B. Community Information Drive Kontra Terorismo Briefing by 1LT AYEN P RAMOS (OS) PA, CO, A Coy, 1CMOBn, 1ID, PA

C. Fight for Democracy lecture by TSg Rico W Montalban (Inf) PA, S7 NCO, 10IB, 1ID, PA

D. Lecture on Illegal Drugs by PCPT ROLAND I DONOR, Chief of Police, Calamba, Misamis Occidental

Leaflets about ECLIP were also distributed to the participants. The participants vowed to give their full support to the initiatives of the National Government concerning peace and security.
