A Joint Integrated Defense System Patrol was held by the 18th Infantry (Deo Et Patria) Battalion, in coordination with the Barangay Captains and Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams of Ungkaya Pukan, Tipo-Tipo, Al-Barka (UPTAL) and Hadji Mohammad Ajul (HMA) in the UPTAL and HMA area, yesterday, April 25.
This was in accordance with the local government units’ covenant signed during the Joint Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) Meeting on April 17.
Said activity was done purposely to ensure the safety of the people and for a peaceful and orderly national and local elections on May 13.
The 18IB troopers remain steadfast in securing and protecting the communities under the UPTAL and HMA area.
