On February 02, 2019, units under 602nd Infantry Brigade initiated an engagement with the MILF leaders in connection with the security preparation for the uncoming BOL plebiscite in the 6 municipalities of Cotabato.
The engagement was conducted simultaneously by the 7th and 34th Infantry Battalions in their respective headquarters and was attended by MILF leaders operating in Cotabato and witnessed by CCCH members.
BGEN ALFREDO V ROSARIO JR AFP, Commander, 602IBde humbly expressed his gratitude to the MILF leaders for showing their wholehearted support and commitment to attain a successful and peaceful plebiscite.
