Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founding chairman Nur Misuari is set to be arraigned this November 23 over charges concerning the alleged P77.26 million worth of ghost purchases of educational materials.
The Sandiganbayan 3rd Division set the date of the arraignment after pushed back the initial Sept. 21 schedule due to his pending motion to dismiss.
Misuari is facing two counts of graft and two counts of malversation before the Sandiganbayan 3rd Division.
Under the charges, Misuari is accused for his involvement in the alleged anomalous purchase of educational materials from 2000 to 2001 when he was still governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).
The purchases were made from CPR Publishing House, MBJ Learning Tools, and White Orchids.
The Office of the Ombudsman which filed the case alleged that no deliveries were made for the educational materials.
