CAPAS, Tarlac -- Army Mechanized Infantry Division (MID) Commander Major General Gilbert Gapay urged his troops, the mounted warriors, to continue to perform their role with the highest degree of professionalism and passion for excellence.
In his Welcome Remarks during the 12th Activation Anniversary of MID, Gapay stressed that excellence is the hallmark of a mounted warrior.
“One of the manifestations of our pursuit for excellence is the awarding of certain personnel who have excelled in both combat and non-combat operations,” he said.
Gapay recalled that over the years, Team Armor has greatly contributed in the significant accomplishments and victories of the Philippine Army.
“MID remains to be a major contributor in the success of army operations and campaigns of the Armed Forces of the Philippines,” he furthered.
With this, he encouraged the mounted warriors to be strategic and strive as the combat arm of precision of the Philippine Army.
“Together, as solid Team Armor, let us face future challenges with vigor and dedication,” he added.
