IMPASUGONG, Bukidnon (DWDD) – The 8th Infantry “Dependable”Battalion participated in the Simultaneous Nationwide Bloodletting Activity at its headquarters in Impasugong, Bukidnon last 02 September 2017. This activity was done in connection with the Peace Consciousness Month with the theme “Dugo Para sa Kapayapaan.”
Even with the unit’s busy schedule, the DEPENDABLE TROOPERS still managed to give time and participated this activity. The activity would not be possible without the help of the Philippine Red Cross. Volunteers headed by Quezza Gay T. Tagarda, Philippine Red Cross Quality Assurance Officer, and Dr. Neptune S. Jaramillo, Municipal Health Officer of LGU-Sumilao,aided the activity.
Many of us have bled and died in battles to secure the land and safeguard the people in times of chaos. Soldiers from the different parts of the country have been doing this throughout the ages. If our sacrifices would bring the whole nation closer to achieving this peace, we are ready to do so at any given time or place. 8IB CMO / MCAG
