CAMP GEN EMILIO AGUINALDO, Quezon City (DWDD) – “LEAVING NO SOLDIER’S ORPHAN BEHIND” – General Eduardo Año (middle), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff receives the symbolic P1 Million-check donation from Vice Admiral Narciso Vingson (right), AFP Deputy Chief of Staff and Chairman of the AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO) Board of Trustees in a ceremony held Monday, 17 July 2017 in Camp Aguinaldo.
The AFP Cavaliers Basketball Team won the money during the UNTV Cup Executive Face-off where it triumphed against the PNP Responders on June 10.

The donation will be used to sustain the education of our brave soldiers’ orphans who are current beneficiaries of the AFPEBSO. Present in the ceremony are members of the AFP Cavaliers headed by its team captain, Major General Melquiades Feliciano, Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations, J7 (left).
