Police Regional Office (PRO) 10 has augmented one company of the Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB) for the Joint Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Philippine National Police (PNP) Operation Marawi City against Maute Group.
According to Police Chief Superintendent Agripino G Javier, PRO-10 regional director, PRO 10 personnel were deployed in different areas in Marawi City in joint operations of the AFP and other PNP units on the ground.
The office acknowledge the heroism and sacrifice of the police personnel in fighting against any forms of terroristic activities caused by the Group in Marawi City.
PRO 10 is closely coordinating with the AFP in all police operations in the area including Northern Mindanao in combatting terrorism in the region.
