110 professionals, athletes join TRADOC training program

From the Philippine News Agency (Mar 4): 110 professionals, athletes join TRADOC training program

Only the best and the brightest will do for the Capas-based Training and Doctrine Command.

This was after 110 special enlistees, consisting of highly skilled professionals and athletes, formally submitted themselves for military training last March 2, TRADOC spokesperson Capt. Alberto Caber said in a message to the Philippine News Agency (PNA) Saturday.

Enlistment ceremonies took place at the TRADOC Grandstand in Camp O' Donnell in Capas, Tarlac.

Caber said the special enlistees will undergo six months of rigorous training before they are accepted into Army rolls.

"The six-month training will equip the students with the needed education and skills that an individual needs in serving the country as a soldier. After graduation, they will join the Philippine Army’s Special Services. They will continue their passion as athletes and skilled professionals," he added.
