From the Visayan Daily Star (Feb 24): IN NIR: New Army chief
Negros Island Region will have a new Army chief next week.
Army Col. EliezerLosañes will take over command of the 303rd Infantry Brigade, that supervises two Army battalions stationed in Negros island, on March 1, Capt. Eduardo Precioso, 303IB Civil Military Operations officer, saidyesterday.
Losañes will replace Brig. Gen. Francisco Delfin, who is reportedly slated to be as the incoming Assistant Division Commander of 3rd Infantry Division.
Delfin served as commander of the 303rd Infantry Brigade for almost one year and eight months.
Before his new assignment, Losañes served as deputy commander of the 301st Infantry Brigade in Iloilo.
Maj. Gen, Jon Aying, 3ID commanding general, will officiate at the change of command between Delfin and Losañes to be held at Camp Major Nelson Gerona in Brgy, Minoyan,Murcia.
Aying also served as 303rd Infantry Brigade commander.
Precioso said that the inauguration of the new gym inside the military camp will also be held before the change of command ceremony.
