NSFA, Panacan, Davao City – Lt General Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero, AFP reiterated his directive to units under Eastern Mindanao Command to be on alert for possible attacks amidst the conflicting statements of George Madlos alias Ka Oris and Fidel Agcaoili on the termination of their own unilateral ceasefire.

Lt General Guerrero emphasized to the troops to always protect the communities including all detachments and camps against enemy attacks.

“Alert troops for possible attacks. Protect the communities from criminal acts of extortion, burning of equipment, abductions, liquidations and other forms of atrocities,” General Guerrero said.

All units under Eastern Mindanao Command are now on active defense posture.
