From Update.Ph (Feb 17): Duterte meets Russia Security Council Secretary



President Rodrigo Duterte conducted a meeting with the Russian Federation delegates at the Presidential Guest House in Panacan, Davao City on February 16, 2017.

The Russian delegation was led by Nikolay P. Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council. Security Council of the Russian Federation is a consultative body of the Russian President that works out the President’s decisions on national security affairs.
 
The delegation was in Davao City for 3 days and had bilateral meetings with the National Security Council of the Philippines.

Together with the President during the meeting are the National Security Adviser, National Defense Secretary, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, and other Cabinet officials.

The last publicly known appearance of President Duterte, prior to this meeting, was last Feburay 12 during the distribution of family food packs and burial assistance quake victims in Surigao City.

On February 12, the President also attended the wedding of Senior Inspector Arvin Hosmillo and and Presidential aide-de-camp Senior Inspector Alnieza Kinang-Hosmillo’s at the Astoria Regency Convention Center in Zamboanga City. He attended as one of the principal sponsors.
