From Update.Ph (Feb 6): BRP Andres Bonifacio back to Manila

The Philippine Navy’s third Gregorio del Pilar-class frigate is now in Manila. The said warship, Barko ng Republika ng Pilipinas (BRP) Andres Bonifacio (FF17), arrived at Pier 13, South Harbor, Manila on February 3, the Philippine Navy said.

This is after the completion of its maiden mission to southern Philippines covering the areas of Cebu, Iloilo, Zamboanga, General Santos City, Davao and Iligan City, the Navy added.

 

The mission, Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 2017 sea phase training and shakedown mission for its personnel, started mid-January.

During port calls, Open House activities gave civilians chance to tour inside BRP Andres Bonifacio.
