SURRENDERED | The surrenderees were identified as @Jopel, Squad Leader; @Mike and @Joel, team leaders, all of Squad 2; and @Angela, Platoon (Pltn) Medic, all from Pltn 3, Guerilla Front (GF) Malayag, Sub Regional Committee (SRC) 2, Northern Central Mindanao Regional Command (NCMRC).
They disclosed that physical exhaustion, hunger, lack of food and operational supplies, and the realization of the NPA’s false promises caused them to surrender.
