The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) refused to comment
on a viral video reportedly released by an "radicalist, extremism
group" calling for massive attacks against people standing against their
beliefs as it urged the public not to be swayed by such gesture.
"Do not glorify and dignify (statements and videos made
by) these groups," AFP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Restituto Padilla said.
In the same vein, Padilla urged the public to refrain from
spreading the video and delete it, so as not to spread the group's message of
hate, radicalism and extremism.
"The message of the video is animalistic and evil in
all its entirety," he added.
In the video, an unidentified terrorist group is calling for
violent attacks against Christians and Muslim backsliders who are standing
against them.
