Two cadets of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) belong
to the academy's top 10 of Class 2016.
Cadet First Class Kristian Daeve Abiqui of Minanga Sur, San Pablo , Isabela topped the PMA Gabay Lay class of 2016
and Cadet First Class Arby Jurist Cabrera of Tagaran, Cauayan City
The announcement of the top ten cadets was announced last
March 7, 2016 by the PMA management.
Philippine Red Cross (PRC) – Isabela chapter administrator
Stephanie Cabrera, mother of Cadet First Class Arby Jurist Cabrera, was elated
after learning that his son was ranked third.
Cabrera said her family did not expect that his son will be
one of the cadets to top the class saying his son was just an average student
when he was in elementary and high school.
Soon, she said her son would realize his dream of becoming a
pilot as he will be assigned in the Philippine Air Force (PAF) after
graduation.
On the other hand, Efren Abiqui, a government worker, said
it has always been his son's dream to enter the country’s premier military
academy. Being the valedictorian of Class 2016 is a bonus.
