The Department of National Defense (DND), in a bid bulletin
posted at the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System website, is
planning to acquire 9,728 rounds of high-explosive ammunition (HE) for its
105mm howitzers.
The project has a budget of Php291,840,000 which will be
sourced from "FY 2015 General Appropriations and Philippine Army
Appropriation CY 2015".
Winning bidders are required to deliver the items within 180
calendar days from receipt of "Notice to Proceed."
They must also have completed a single largest similar
completed contract, the amount of which is equivalent to at least 50 percent of
the DND's HE rounds acquisition project within the last 10 years.
Pre-bid conference is scheduled on Jan. 15, 11 a.m. at the
DND bidding and awards committee, conference room, basement, DND Building ,
Camp Aguinaldo ,
Quezon City
Bid opening is on Jan. 28, 11 a.m. at the same venue.
The 105mm howitzer is the most numerous weapon of the Nueva
Ecija-based Army Artillery Regiment.
