From the Philippine Information Agency (Jan 6): AFP confers Bayanihan Award to Ifugao Guv
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) bestowed the Bayanihan Award 2015 to Governor Denis Habawel for his invaluable contributions to the AFP’s Internal Peace and Security Plan “Bayanihan” (IPSPB) in support of development programs focusing on peace and security.
Bayanihan Awards are conferred to AFP’s active partner stakeholders, both from the government and non-government agencies, who have helped the AFP in achieving its goals through the spirit of Bayanihan.
According to the AFP, the governor also provided support to the implementation of the Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) program.
“Through his leadership, the province of Ifugao became the top implementer of PAMANA and now had commendable implementation and completion of 13 infrastructure projects and nine livelihood projects worth P30.96 million and P16.415 million respectively,”
These achievements accordingly contributed to the attainment of the objectives and vision of the AFP’s IPSPB.
