An armored personnel carrier (APC) lost its brakes and
rammed a civilian vehicle, a Ford Eco-Sport SUV, which was parked in Bontiwoy
Poblacion, Tuba, Benguet, on Tuesday afternoon.
A report coming from Cordillera Region Police Office Supt.
Cherry Fajardo said the incident took place at 4:45 p.m. and the APC involved
was assigned to the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion based in San Jose
The military vehicle was driven by Sgt. Jesus Salinas, 35.
The Ford Eco-Sport SUV sustained an undisclosed amount of
damage. Nobody was injured, the report added.
