From GMA News (Nov 8): Scout Rangers kill Abu Sayyaf leader in Basilan
Army troops killed a suspected Abu Sayyaf Group leader in an encounter in Tuburan, Basilan, before dawn Sunday.
Initial reports said members of the Philippine Army's Scout Ranger battalion killed Abdulhasan Tanadjalon a.k.a. Bullet, in an encounter in Mt. Sinangkapan, Tuburan.
The troops engaged Tanadjalon's group in a one-hour firefight, which started at around 3 a.m.
The military has yet to confirm if its troops were able to recover the body of Tanadjalon,
