Government security forces are now hot on the trail of the
motorcycle-riding gunmen who shot and killed a couple in Jolo, Sulu Tuesday
evening.
The incident took place at 6:30 p.m. at Sitio Sheik Mustafa,
Upper San Raymundo in Jolo town, Brig. Gen. Alan Arrojado, Joint Task Group
Sulu commander, said.
He identified the fatalities as Abdulwahab Sabdani, 25, and
his wife Almalyn, 27, residents of the same place.
He added the couple were tending their store when two
unidentified men alighted from their motorcycle and fired several shots at the
victims before making their escape.The two died on the spot.
Investigation and pursuit operations are ongoing as of this
posting.
