The camp of dismissed Philippine Military Academy (PMA)
Cadet 1st Class Aldrin Jeff Cudia on Thursday filed before the Supreme Court
(SC) another petition seeking a reconsideration of the SC's final ruling.
This was through a third motion for reconsideration (MR)
filed by Cudia, through the Public Attorney's Office (PAO), asking the SC to
set aside its decision that dismissed their second motion for reconsideration.
The camp of Cudia also asked the SC to order the PMA to
release Cudia's academic documents such as the following:
-- diploma or certificate of completion of academic
subjects;
-- general weighted average certified by the PMA School
Registrar;
-- certificate of good moral character and honorable
dismissal;
-- certificate of discharge so that Cudia will be given the
opportunity to enroll in another school; and
-- transcript of records.
The petitioner argued that the said documents are important
in order that Cudia can already enroll at the University of the Philippines
College of Law.
Cudia asked for understanding of the SC because his family
cannot anymore support his studies if he will still have to repeat the first
year college of an undergraduate course.
Cudia also cited in his petition the condition of his
father, Renato Cudia, who is now "half-paralyzed" after suffering a
"brain stroke", and his mother, who has no job, hence, he will have
difficulty to pursue his studies.
