Newly assigned army officials from Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) made a courtesy call to the local chief executive of Isabela recently.

The newly-assigned NOLCOM commanding general Lt. Gen. Glorioso Miranda was assisted by 5th Infantry Division Philippine Army commander Maj. Gen. Lysander Suerte.

Miranda was former commander of 7th Infantry Division, Philippine Army based in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija before he was assigned in the NOLCOM.

Also present during the courtesy call were Maj. Gen. Raul Del Rosario, commander 1st Air Division, Philippine Army, Col. James Jacob, commander of 502nd Infantry Brigade and Col. Noel Baluyan, operations chief of 5ID.

The top army officials were welcomed by Governor Faustino G. Dy III at capitol guest house and vowed to cooperate in the maintenance of internal peace and security in their area of responsibility.
