BRP Nueva Vizcaya up for dry-docking, structural repairs

From the Philippine News Agency (Jul 17): BRP Nueva Vizcaya up for dry-docking, structural repairs

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has allocated the sum of Php14,522,622.02 for the dry-docking and structural repairs of the BRP Nueva Vizcaya (SARV-3502), one of its rescue ships.

Winning bidders are required to deliver the service within 45 calendar days.

Bid opening is scheduled this coming July 30, 09:00 A.M at Philippine Coast Guard Conference Room, 2F Admin Building, 139 25th St., Port Area, Manila.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.

The PCG reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.

The BRP Nueva Vizcaya is a 35-meter (115 foot), all-aluminium patrol boat designed by Tenix Shipbuilding in Australia, based on the company's Pacific-class patrol boat.

The PCG has four units of such vessels.
