From Ang Malaya (Apr 5): Philippine Air Force commander visits Japan
Done as part of confidence building measures and finding opportunities for training and information exchange, Philippine Air Force Commanding General Lt. Gen. Jeffrey F. Delgado, had a four-day official visit to Japan accepting the invitation of his counterpart Japan Air Self Defense Force Chief of Staff General Harukazu Saitoh from March 25-29, 2015.
Gen. Delgado’s visit was an important foundation as the PAF develops its capabilities to strengthen its air defense roles aligned with the PAF Flight Plan 2028, the Philippine Air Force said.
Japanese air force is set to conduct capacity building assistance for members of Philippine Air Force as agreed on the recently signed Memorandum on Defense Cooperation and Exchanges between Philippines and Japan.
