CAMP GUILLERMO NAKAR, LUCENA CITY -– Top brass officials of the Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM) hosted on Tuesday the “Stakeholders Night and Awarding Ceremony” at the Bayview Resort in Barangay Bantigue, Pagbilao, Quezon.

SOLCOM Commander, Lieutenant General Caesar Ronnie F. Ordoyo, said the command hosted the social gathering as a token of appreciation for all the support and significant contributions of stakeholders and participants of the successful staging of the “Table Top Exercise and Disaster Risk Reduction Capability Demonstration” held recently in Lucena City’s Dalahican Port complex.

Lt. Gen. Ordoyo also expressed optimism for sustained good working relationships and partnership undertakings among stakeholders as he thanked the participating heads of agencies, private organizations and AFP units who supported the said activities.

“This activity aims to enhance camaraderie and cooperation of major stakeholders in disaster response operations in the province of Quezon and we are very grateful for their cooperation and support to every endeavor of the command,” the SOLCOM commanding general remarked.

Ordoyo also led the presentation of the certificates of recognition and awards to the stakeholders, donors and sponsors following the dinner reception.

A goodwill basketball game between SOLCOM players and Team Energy was held Tuesday afternoon followed by the cocktail reception.
