From the Philippine News Agency (Aug 8): Gov't security forces nab notorious bandit leader in Zamboanga Peninsula

Police and military security forces arrested a notorious bandit leader tagged as responsible in a string of kidnapping cases in the Zamboanga Peninsula Thursday afternoon.

Sehar Muloc alias "Commander Red Eye" of Barangay Mucas, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte was arrested on Thursday by a joint team of operatives from Police Regional Office 9 and AFP Special Units, at the Pasalubong Center, Barangay Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Muloc is the principal accused in Criminal Case Number IM-13-0573 for the crime of kidnapping and serious illegal detention in connection with the kidnapping of Mayor Jeffrey Lim of Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte and three other victims in 2012.
