Posted to the MILF Website (Sep 28): Ambush kills village chief, injures another in Zambo Sibugay

Unidentified gunmen have killed a top village official and injured another in an ambush in the hinterlands of Zamboanga Sibugay province, a report reaching Luwaran said.  The report disclosed that the incident took place at Purok Mangga in the village of Bangco, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay province last September 25. The slain government village official as Alberto Arabia, 40, the village chief of Marcelo, Kalawit town, Zamboanga del Norte Province, and the wounded companion as Ernie Sumaylo, also a resident of the same village and town.  The motive for the attack has not yet been established.
