Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 10) — The Batangas Police Provincial Office has reported that nine buses suffered minor damage due to an explosion at the Magnificat Transport Terminal Station in Laurel, Batangas on Sunday early morning.

The Batangas police said a grenade was thrown at the bus station at around 3:30 a.m. by an unknown suspect. The explosion shattered some windows of the buses.

The police also said there were no casualties.

"Sa ating mga mamayanan, ako po ay umaapila sa inyo na kung may alam kayo o may nakakakilala sa gumawa nito ay agad ninyong ipagbigay alam sa aming may awtoridad upang agad mapanagot ang mga ito," Batangas Police Provincial Director PCol Samson Belmonte said in a statement.
