Pinangasiwaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang panunumpa sa tungkulin ng 40 na heneral at flag officers na tumaas ang ranggo sa hanay ng Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas (AFP) ngayong araw, ika-19 ng Hunyo.

Binigyang-diin ng Pangulo ang suporta ng kaniyang administrasyon sa AFP lalo na sa kanilang pagsisiguro sa kapakanan ng organisasyon at mga tauhan nito habang ipinapatupad ang tungkuling protektahan ang bansa at sambayanang Pilipino.

Kabilang sa mga nanumpa ay 10 na Major Generals at Real Admirals, 14 Brigadier Generals at Commodores ng Philippine Army, isang (1) Lieutenant General, tatlong (3) Major Generals at Real Admirals, at apat (4) na Brigadier Generals at Commodores ng Philippine Navy.

Kasama rin ang isang (1) Lieutenant General, dalawang (2) Major Generals/Real Admiral, tatlong (3) Brigadier Generals at Commodores ng Philippine Air Force, at dalawang (2) Brigadier Generals at Commodore ng Technical and Administrative Service ng AFP.
